This $13 billion multi-national ceramics and electronic manufacturer is a consistent leader in its space, with significant growth forecasted. The company decided to implement Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) across the enterprise organization, and needed it done by a very specific deadline. Enter Apolis, chosen by the company to drive identification of necessary resources for the project at hand.
CHALLENGE
When the client developed their organizational structure and strategic review of the project, they quickly realized they needed additional resources – and brainpower — in order to successfully complete it before the established deadline. The Apolis team was formed, playing a critical role and ultimately holding primary responsibility for the EDI implementation.
Apolis worked with the client’s senior-level management to scope the project and select the EDI Coordinator. The team then worked with that Coordinator to identify and onboard the additional eight professionals needed to complete the project.
SOLUTION
The EDI implementation was taken through the pilot process, then successfully rolled out to the client’s business partners one week before the established deadline.
